Caring for Creation: Milkweed Seed Distribution
for Monarch Migration
New Life Lutheran Church is committed to respecting
and restoring creation by offering people opportunities
to connect with God in nature. Thank you for helping with
this mission by planting the milkweed seeds you have received. For more information about milkweed and the benefits it provides to monarch butterflies, please visit:

Psalm 96:11-12
Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice; let the sea roar, and all that fills it; let the field exult, and everything in it. Then shall all the trees of the forest sing for joy.
A Prayer
God of joy, God of rain, God of flying and crawling and swimming things.
Thank you for the gifts of nature and the joy we find in sunsets and sunrises,
singing birds, and fleeting glimpses of our fellow creatures walking in
woods and roadsides.
Thank you for the beauty of butterflies, which rise as you did, from absence
and stillness to something completely new and beautiful.
Help us to care for your creation, of which we are a part.
Amen.
Martin Luther
"The power of God is present at all places, even in the tiniest tree leaf."
