We care for creation

New Life is an outdoor worshipping community. Our setting is 12 acres of beautiful Texas Hill Country land, on the northern side of Dripping Springs. We don't have a building, but we do have a tent to use when it rains or is cold (with heaters!). Our favorite place to worship, though, is in our Oak Tree Sanctuary at the top of the hill. There is almost always a breeze. Often animals join us.

New Life is a founding member of a group of churches marking a burgeoning outdoor worship movement: the Wild Church Network.

We want our land to be a sanctuary for native plants and animals as the countryside around us develops rapidly. We have lots of animal neighbors: sometimes a wren family takes over the lectern with a Spring nest, and we share.

We also want this place to be a sanctuary for our human neighbors. We have a prayer labyrinth that is always available for you to walk and pray. We have a bird blind where you can sit and watch the many birds on the land. Our walking trails include the Scriptural Stations of the Cross -- 14 walking stations with art, benches, etc. There are picnic tables for lunches.

We serve our community with our community garden -- produce goes to local food pantries.

We also have service projects out in the community that care for creation -- we have served at a local dog shelter, and we regularly pick up trash along our adopted stretch of Highway 12.

The New Life land is open for you to come and feel close to God.
